About
Belfast harpist and composer Ursula Burns is delighted to take part in the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2026, bringing the harp back to life at the historic Assembly Rooms.
This iconic venue was the heart of the famous Belfast Harpers' Assembly in 1792, a pivotal moment in the preservation of Ireland's harp tradition. Ursula will animate the space with her harp, reconnecting past and present in the centre of the city.
She will present a rich and varied programme featuring much-loved traditional Irish harp music, popular favourites, and original compositions from her latest album, The Secret Melodies of Trees. Performing inside Ireland's smallest mobile venue, the delightful Cloud Truck Theatre, the sound of the harp will once again ring proudly through the streets of Belfast.
Intimate, atmospheric, and deeply rooted in history, this performance promises a magical experience to animate the space. Come and witness the iconic harp where heritage and new melodies meet.
