Inspired by the historic "Stations" tradition, the Waterworks Stations Sessions will transform The Waterworks parkland into a wandering cultural promenade. Pontoons and lakeside benches will become mini-stages for 'pop up' performances set against Binn Mhadagáin, Cave Hill, and the park's wildlife. You're invited to wander your way around the park, meeting storytellers, traditional musicians, poets and dancers. The original "Stations" emerged when secret mass was followed by spontaneous gatherings of storytelling, music, and dance. Inspired by tradition, but embracing contemporary reinterpretation and cultural diversity, The Waterworks Stations Sessions will re-imagine that post-mass revelry in The Waterworks during the Fleadh.
