About

Titanic Belfast is the world's largest Titanic visitor experience and a must-see on any visit to Belfast and Northern Ireland.

Titanic Belfast is the world's most authentic Titanic visitor experience, which is located.beside the Titanic Slipways, the Harland and Wolff Drawing Offices and Hamilton Graving Dock, on the spot where the famous shop was designed, built and launched.

The iconic building features the self-guided Titanic Experience which tells the story of RMS Titanic, from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her famous maiden voyage and tragic end.

The self-guided Titanic Experience extends over nine interpretive and interactive galleries, which explore the sights, sounds, smells and stories of RMS Titanic, as well as the city and people who made her.

Titanic Experience

The self guided tour follows a themed one-way route as you journey through boomtown Belfast and the shipyard where the liners were built, to the launch, fit out and maiden voyage, before discovering more about the sinking, aftermath, the quest to find Titanic and her final resting place.

Then following the £4.7 million refresh, we have introduced a new theme, The Pursuit of Dreams and a stunning new artefact collection, plus a 7.6m long scale model of RMS Titanic which rotates and illuminates in sync with state-of-the-art projections for a truly immersive experience. Visitors can see more, hear more and feel more as new light is shed on Titanic’s story and the hopes and dreams of those connected to her, as the Ship of Dreams comes to life for a spectacular, unforgettable experience!

SS Nomadic

Step on board SS Nomadic, the world’s last remaining White Star vessel and RMS Titanic’s original tender ship, where you can walk the decks, explore the ship and journey through over 100 years of authentic maritime and social history.

Titanic Slipways

Titanic Belfast stands at the head of the historic slipways where Titanic and Olympic were built and from where these famous ships were first launched into the water.

Walk down the very slipway where Titanic was constructed and explore a life size plan of Titanic’s Promenade Deck which is inlaid in white stone.

Discover the positions of the liner’s lifeboats and funnels and have a seat at one of the benches positioned exactly as they would have been on board the deck of Titanic.

So whether you come for the architecture, the history and heritage or the unique visitor experience, by bus, bike or walking, a stop off at Titanic Belfast is a highly recommended for any trip to Belfast.
