At its heart is The O2 arena, Northern Ireland’s largest indoor entertainment venue. With a capacity of 11,200, the arena plays host to a packed year-round programme of international concerts, major sporting events and family shows.  The arena is also home to the Belfast Giants – the only professional ice hockey club on the island of Ireland and one of the most successful teams in UK ice hockey history. 

Alongside live entertainment, The O2 Belfast is also home to W5 at The O2; an award-winning Science and Discovery Centre that provides family friendly, inclusive access to more than 250 hands-on STEM-based exhibits across eight interactive zones. Adjacent to W5 is W5 LIFE (Learning Innovation for Everyone) – a state-of-the-art digital learning hub dedicated to addressing the skills requirements of Northern Ireland’s increasingly digitalised economy.
