Housed inside an iconic 19th-century former shoe factory, Union Street has long been a staple of Belfast's LGBTQIA+ scene — and following a fresh refurbishment in November 2025, there's a whole new feel to the place.

Think stylish interiors, cocktails, cosy corners, rooftop drinks, fabulous queens and brilliantly camp entertainment — all with that unmistakable Union Street personality.

Spread across multiple spaces, you can call in for a quiet drink, book a table with friends, spend your Saturday going Bottomless, catch a drag show or take over an entire space for your own party.

MAIN BAR 🍸

Fresh, stylish and right at the heart of Union Street.

Following our 2025 refurbishment, the Main Bar combines the character of the original building with a polished, contemporary feel.

It's made for cocktails after work, date nights, drinks with friends and settling in for an evening of entertainment.

Throughout the week expect drag, quizzes, karaoke, DJs, live entertainment and special events — or simply grab a table and enjoy the atmosphere.

Coming with the gang? Reserve your table in advance and make Union Street your base for the night.

SOHO LOUNGE ✨

A little more private and a little more fabulous.

Our Soho Lounge is a stylish space for groups who want their own area while still being part of the Union Street atmosphere.

Perfect for birthdays, celebrations, work parties, Christmas nights and private events, with entertainment packages available to make your night completely your own.

ROOFTOP TERRACE 🌇

One of Belfast's hidden gems.

Our Rooftop Terrace is the perfect spot for cocktails with friends, summer evenings and group celebrations.

And when Belfast weather inevitably does its thing, we've got that covered too — literally.

The terrace transforms into a cosy covered space during the colder months, meaning rooftop season doesn't have to end when summer does.

The Rooftop Terrace is also available for private hire, making it perfect for birthdays, work parties and celebrations.

THE SHOE FACTORY 👠

The building's history lives on in The Shoe Factory — although these days we're producing considerably more drag queens than footwear.

This versatile entertainment space transforms throughout the week for drag shows, G&T Karaoke, DJs, live entertainment and special events.

One minute you're sitting enjoying the show.

The next? Well... that depends how many drinks you've had.

Your Saturday starts at Union Street.

Every Saturday from 2PM, join us for our Bottomless experience for £40 per person.

Get the group together, get the drinks flowing and settle in for an afternoon at Union Street.

And we're not throwing you out when Bottomless finishes...
